Helios 44-2 Flare-edition M42-mount 58mm f/2 №0031157This is a brand-new development from my workshop.The lens is engineered to maximize its ability to catch and amplify light flares from bright sources. Each of the six elements in four groups has been specially treated to reduce contrast and minimize flare resistance. An internal reflector has been added between the first and second element groups.You can easily adjust the flare intensity using the aperture control ring — from the strongest flares wide open to almost complete disappearance when stopped down.The aperture control ring has been redesigned and now shows the correct aperture value, and not the other way around, as on all standard Helios 44-2. Restored using modern lubricants. The glass is washed with Zeiss products inside and out. There are cleaning marks on the rear glass
